A Strange Night-Dream Poem by Naima Ansari

A Strange Night-Dream

Rating: 3.0

You know what happened with me last night
Rapturous or melancholic moment shall I call
Behold your hearts guyz or your tears may fall!

So I realte what had actually happened
It was a heart-shaking and regretting moment.
A gentleman with his beautiful voice spoke
Hearing his voice I suddenly awoke,
To my surprise in the pitch-dark night
An angel's glory appeared slight
From the opened french window the moon did smile
Though darkness was spread to every mile.

'You the girl is too selfish and least understanding'
Hearing this my tears rolled down and my cell phone continued to ring
It was almost mid-night as I glanced at the clock
When I could hear a boy crying in my LOVE
He spoke to me how lonely he felt
I hugged him tight and didn't realize when I slept.

How beautiful thoughts I had dreamt of
When the guy sang me a lovely song
I felt so light and heavenly
As if I held God in my arms!

By the time all my tears got soaked
The boy pushed me away from his arms
Once again the flood of tears broke
And with my loudest cry 'silence' prevailed.

The moon's beauty, the brightness of angel's appearance all shed away
As the boy left me lonely without any gay!

Silence prevailed everywhere yet my phone continued ringing
As I got up and rushed singing
When I received the call
The guy made me fall
It was the same 'he' that left me moments ago.
