A Sunny Day (C) 1-8-2011

I can't remember the last time I've seen it rise
Out of all of our tries I can finally see through my eyes
I could only lay here and wonder how all that lies
In the sands of memory, it's indefinite in the knowledge it holds
A summer away from home, on Christmas it was left alone
Waters crashed on lovers binding in the hidden coves
Majestic mountains stand firm with serenity in its face
But it can't associate with its only friend in life
But through the evil I see that the dark is only temporary
It used to be scary to think that the Ocean was my adversary
