Is this the time to ask for grace
or is this the time to live or die?
is this the time to fear or dare
or is this the time to just pray and sleep?
is this the time to find God
or is this the time that death will find us?

Is this the time to breathe so hard
or is this the time to panic and cry?
Is this the time to accept this fate
which God destines and man accepts?
Is this the time where life cannot circumvent death
except the one that immortality prescribes?

Is this the time our airbags will suffocate
or is this the time to seek mercy by silence?
Is this the time to ask for relief
or is this the time death has a duty?
Is this the time to imploreGod
to give human race a chance again
to regain the lost health, the lost peace?

Is this the time to lose our lives
which God's kindness itself has gifted
to us to live on and to make this world
a home until time decides when
man should walk back to that kingdom
where no hunger, no thirst exists?

Is this the time when my Lord, my God
will not hear my plea to
spare my brothers and sisters
who have to leave this world so young at heart
and so enthusiastic with their dreams?
Is this the time God will not help me
andleave my brethren to die
when we are His very own flock of sheep?

Is this the time when God will not send us
a shepherd and guide us to those pastures
which are clean and green?
Is this the time to realize that
our health is the only wealth for now
and all riches we cling to are so obsolete?

Is this the time for releasing us
from this earth, the same very earth
on which God sent us to live a human time?
Is this the time to just sit and wait?

Is this the time to tell God
I am not prepared to leave
as my breath, my sight, my feet
have to traverse this earth just one more time
before my eyes go soft and melt?

Is this not the time to say-
O' God, we are your creation,
please release my brethren and me
to live a little more time on this earth
before you call us and need us there?
