A Table For Two Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

A Table For Two

Rating: 5.0

I-nclement weather changes
A-s the beacon stops the rain;
N-ineteenth February,
N-ew morning breaks
A-gain.

R-eappearance and rise
O-f the sun has just begun;
A-nother dawn is shining,
N-o more sadness but fun.
N-ight shadows have faded into the deep cold darkness;
E-vening haze has faded, as well as the midnight mist.

T-ry to accept my greetings,
R-ead the letters for a moment;
O-rdinary words of mine
P-ave the way for the great event.
E-arly wake up from slumber to think of the message for you;
L-et me send my rhyme as I picture a table for two.
