A Tranquil Moment Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

A Tranquil Moment

Rating: 4.0

Tranquil places,
Long lost faces.
When time stood still,
There upon the hill.
Where butterflies danced,
In the glow of the sun,
Where bees hummed along,
As the new day began.
This place of peace,
This place so serene,
Memories of loved ones,
No longer seen.
I remember that time,
Way out of reach,
But here in my memories,
It's presence i seek.

A little rhyming to start can 'go a long way(s) '. But kick the apostrophe out of your last line, ...please.

tranquil: Free from disturbance; calm That sounds good to me, both the 'calm' & the poem. But some thoughts COULD be emotionally disturbing.
