A Universal Conundrum

Rating: 5.0
It takes our breath away, not only today, but in the centuries from those days, when all Commandments were written.

Restricting Gods to One and only one. Commanding
observance to that one alone. The uno uno of all
Gods. Each not recognising another!

How is that so? Divisiveness between those Gods. On
a god like scale. Monumental separateness.

Each one saying they are God and must be followed.

Only one word to be heard. Creating over time horrendous mayhem.

Even today. In their names:

murder, maiming, blaming, retraining, harassing,
proclaiming, engaging in religious wars, supporting secular wars, shunning, dividing families, sects, lack of respect, rituals, conspiracies, music, art, architecture, education, perspectives, proselytizing, and states.

Plural Gods have created a universal conundrum. No
wonder, each in their omnipotence, have created
non-believers who are a special target.

I imagine even non-believers believe in some type of 'god'. Cosmic worship, paganism, evolution, Q. I believe everyone worships something whether they are aware of it or not. Who really cares as long as they don't kill in its name!

Excellent poem. That's what i believe too. The mere fact that some say their god is the real one creates discrimination and is contra vires the tenets of Love which is the purpose of life. We are so gullible
