A Wink Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

A Wink

Rating: 0.5

Across the river there is thunder
A bridge of fears
Clocks of silk dreams ticking
Lovers that quit kissing
I know what you want

The church of Jesus is for the broken
I am there
I see you with your hymnal
I probably shouldn’t wink
But I do

I know you seen me
When we get to heaven
Will you wink back?

Would you suggest the Radisson (sic?) for lunch when I visit? I heard it was a great place for lunch with an old friend. 'S'
