A Young Valentine’s Wish Poem by Rajesh Thankappan

A Young Valentine’s Wish

Let me whisper it softly into your ear
Come dear, come near, come near dear.
Valentine’s Day beckons, abandon all care
Come out of the mundane diurnal affairs.

Still there are days ahead for us to worry
Days ahead when we can linger on or tarry
But today is no such day, so let us hurry
Fun and frolic before we marry!

A lovely Valentine's Day poem, greatly to be enclosed in a card, and sealed with a heart.

Thank you ma'am for having revisited the poem. It was on second thought that I made some alterations.
