ACCEPT WITH GRATITUDE
TO RETURN IN HUMILITY!
Let us not feel superior for having given,
Or feel inferior for having taken!
We grow up in life mostly receiving,
As a part of our very upbringing!
We take sustenance from our mothers,
We take knowledge from our teachers,
Companionship from our friends,
And unconditional love from our pets!
We take food from the earth, and our
very breath, -
Is the oxygen we inhale - which the earth
regenerates!
Yet do we feel obliged enough to return
our gifts?
There should be a time to take and a time
to give !
One day we must return all our obligations, -
Trough demonstrative and positive actions!
Mere lip service cannot compensate, -
Nor by shedding tears for the dead!
By caring for our elders and planting more
trees,
By our efforts to become a better human being,
And by keeping our environment forever clean!
By accepting all our blessings with gratitude,
To return them with humility as we always should!

Yet do we feel obliged enough to return our gifts? There should be a time to take and a time to give! ------- true and well said...from what we are all receiving from God and to our mother earth we must feel obliged to return the favor. We should care for them and make the world a better place to live in since we are the one who will benefit all to their blessings. And if we didn't care about it and we act to be so greedy, still the sufferings will go also knocking to our doors. Such a wonderful crafts shared.well done to its profound content! ! !
this piece is nice, , it touches many views in life..so nice to read..interesting..
Ofcourse, accepting everything from others we retaliate with vengeance the inborn quality attained in life by growth.....returning humility as we always should really never be tolerated by others.......mother earth as you said warms and global warming we see now.......your presentation is provocattive thoughtful and meaningful too......thank your for your kind sharing.
