After The Lonely Night Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

After The Lonely Night

Rating: 5.0

A-fter the lonely night
I-s no longer staying there;
L-et the day be sunny
E-very first morn
N-ovember.

M-orning light appears
A-fter the lonely night;
N-ew dawn has broken,
S-un is shining bright.
A-fter the lonely night,
N-o more shadows around;
A-ll you see is the beacon,
D-elight is truly found.
E-vening chill has faded, after the cold lonely night;
Z-enith is now waiting for things to be alright.

C-oal clouds become white
U-nder the wide blue sky;
R-ainfall has just faded
I-nto the dark pit up high.
B-ecause of your birth, everything is set aright;
A-nother flame warms your heart, after the lonely night.
