Ageing Parents Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Ageing Parents

Ageing parents

Never think of leaving
But decide of living
Together till they are alive
And survive

You shall get blessings
From ageing
Parents
For good treatment

It is not only duty
But dictate from an almighty
That never deceives your parents
But make their stay as happy and pleasant

You too will reach that stage
When getting close to that age
You too shall feel loneliness
His memory shall rush on the face

We sometimes ignore this fact
And act
Foolishly and unfairly
It is condemned really

You too will reach that stage. Once born, one is about to face growth. Nice work.
