Air On Pluto Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Air On Pluto

From your open kisses
Eyelids opened so
Sensual
A sweet taste that no longer went bitter
That aroma still exists little by little
Painting a bigger picture
A banner painted by the wind
As the flowers bloom in their scent
Eyes close as that place is near
Loving blindly as sight hinders so much more
The dawn gives departure to dusk
Not saying good-bye
The debris of what's left can be seen
Not much now
Turbulent
As the stars can finally be seen
Remants
Mere flares sent to the sky from shipwrecked desires
How they sparkle so bright
How they've slowly sunk into time
The birds
Now asleep
neatly tucked in their nests
No sweet song to sing
Not a churp could heard before the dawn reached for the brim from where its last laid its hat
Mellow was the sky that cast overhead
How the clouds have enveloped their tears
For the cruel summer
From your open kisses
Eyelids opened so
Hands spoke with the gift of sight
The throbs of each others hearts could be felt
Pulsating
as they spoke aloud
Suddenly
The sun plunged to the sky with each look of her eye
All was spoken
With the look of her eye
All was spoken
With the look of her eye
Eyes close as that place is near
