Airlift- Oxygen
Saturday,24th April 2021

Corona has lifted the ugly head again
we, the Indians, are facing a crisis with pain
daily we hear about sad demises
the nation is bereaved with such loses

since three days, the active cases are crossing three lakhs
the deaths reported are the highest ever
it causes agony and fear
we feel powerless and sad here

the invisible enemy strikes with severity
the firewood is in shortage and felt severely
the electrical furnaces are melting
the dead bodies are queuing for cremation

oxygen is in shortage
medicines have created a shortage and not available in storage
the black market is on rising
humanity is suffering

the Government is in active mode
the oxygen is airlifted and made available
it is a great task taken on hand
but in the end, we shall have suffered great losses

people were not afraid earlier
they had earned the label as liers
not caring for self and others
now they have sight refuge and resorted to prayers
