Albert Einstein Poem by Akhtar Jawad

Albert Einstein

Rating: 5.0

Einstein didn't want an artificially prolonged life,
Perhaps didn't have a very beautiful wife,
Most amazing all time thinker,
Great scientist, mathematician and writer!
Poet's used to with this daily strife.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Einstein died in Princeton hospital, New Jersey, on April 18,1955. He was 76 years old. He was admitted with chest pains on April 17th. He had a ruptured aortic aneurysm. The surgical management of this was in its infancy. Doctors pleaded with him that they were ready to operate with their new surgery, as did his family, but Einstein made it clear to all that he did not want artificially prolonged life. He mentioned that he had done his share and wanted to exit with dignity. His family and his first son, later professor of civil engineering Hans Albert Einstein were all there. Even on this last day while in great pain Professor Albert Einstein was writing down mathematical equations. The world lost its greatest scientist. It was an extremely sad day. The whole world mourned the loss of this greatest of giants. There is no tombstone. His body was cremated. His ashes were scattered in the Delaware river as per his wish. He had left instructions behind to keep the exact site of the scattering of his ashes a secret, as he did not want public circus and hero-worshipping to set in. Actual site from where the ashes were scattered remains undisclosed still.
