On 10th October 1933,
Dr. Einstein with his wife Elsa,
And his Secretary Helen Dukas,
And other members, managed to board
The ship to cross the Atlantic Ocean,
And to reach their destination,
Their new home in Princeton, America.
Dr. Einstein was welcomed by the Americans
With much awe and admiration.
On arrival in Princeton on 17th October,
They spent their first night at a large
Victorian mansion, at Peacock Inn.
Thereafter, they moved to temporary quarters,
Near the Princeton Institute, his workplace.
Dr Einstein began his work at the Institute,
His lectures attracted both scholars and students,
He charged good fees for his lectures,
Besides, being paid a good salary from the institute.
Financially, he was secure and comfortable.
But money did not affect Dr. Einstein at all,
He was modest and continued to live a very simple life.
Dr. Einstein at the age of 54,
Had moved to a new continent,
Where he felt safe and peaceful.
He spent the rest of his life in Princeton,
Never to return to Germany, Switzerland,
Or any other part of Europe or the world.
Eventually, he became a citizen of America.

I would like to translate this poem
Nice piece of writing on the great scientist. Though, he was financially well off at his new place of work in America, he valued safety and peace more than anything else in the world. Delighted to read. Thanks.
