Life 1 - Live A Full Life
We never asked God
May we be born? Did we?
We just knew,
When life was infused into us
That we are alive!
Life is
Like a vast canvas,
We have to splash pleasant hues,
With good thoughts & actions,
To make it a beautiful painting.
Just as we are born without
Any permission or sanction;
Death too, snatches us away
Without any kind of signal,
Any indication or warning!
But while we live,
We are the masters,
We have a choice,
To lead a contented life,
Whatever may be our destiny.
I am deeply saddened and upset
To hear the death of friend's daughter,
Just eighteen years old. She was
A Kathakali & Mohiniattam danseuse,
With a promising, bright future.
It was not a natural death,
She committed suicide by hanging.
The parents were devastated,
The artistes were shocked,
The whole village wept!
Have we the right to kill ourselves?
Can we not leave it to the Almighty?
Birth and death are God's plans
It is not for us to interfere; But we have
An option, to live life fully till it lasts!
I hope government and school authorities must undertake measures to increase awareness and provide some measures to curtail /prevent this sad incidence.

My heart melts for the parents who are caught unaware of what happened to their beloved daughter. So devastating indeed. We cannot really tell what is going on inside one's mind. There is an alarming increase of suicidal cases nowadays and even for the past few years.
