All Animals Are Aware Sentient

Rating: 5.0

all animals are aware sentient interact
with distance great immensities
within landscape territory they range

on an insect scale honey bees
accurately map the shortest

distance from hive to pollen
each source flower in an instant

ants march out their dominion world
mapping each minute change
all animals interact immersed within

their habitat environment except
displaced dissociated city dwelling
rhythm of life lost link humanity

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

They say "Animal Instincts". But true, dear poet. The terrible fact is, we the human beings have lost our "Animal Instincts" on the road to "Civilisation". Great idea, great poem.5*

The most destructive sentient being on this planet is man, he is wrecking the only inhabitable planet in the solar system for greed.

This is exactly what Mahatma Gandhi meant, I believe, when he said "The nature gives everything to satisfy the needs of everyone, but not our greed."
