All Our Yesterdays Poem by Sandra Feldman

All Our Yesterdays

Rating: 4.8

In the land
Of make believe and paradise,
Time does not pass by
We always feel
That dreams we steal,
May soon be coming by.

Reality is different
All changes, nothing stays
And in our human ignorance
We realize not,
That all our yesterdays
Are our todays
That won't come back.

Before reading this poem of yours, I have just read and commented on 'It Is As Good As It Ever Will Be - Poem by Shalom Freedman'. I can relate myself to both these poems. 'And in our human ignorance We realize not, That all our yesterdays Are our todays That won't come back.' - Sadly, so true!

Sandra, a very well written poem. Dreams pass by but we are immersed. Whereas today, never comes back.
