All things mild and innocent attract her.
A rabbit, a deer, a butterfly, a flower
Can never hurt anyone
And so, they get hurt
As if to prove a point
What is the use of power and strength
If there is no one to test it against?
Have you seen the look in their eyes?
The softness, the tenderness, the trusting look?
The look of a baby, the look of a puppy…

Is not strength given to protect,
To defend the weak
Instead of trampling over them?
But then nature has its own laws!
It creates the weak to sustain the strong
Or so it seems,
Unless we mistake the strong for the weak…
Line 2: 'dear' or 'deer'? don't let a deer kick you or poke you in the eye with antlers! ! ! One BIG reason i 'gave up on God/god' was the cruelty and hardships suffered by so many. : ( bri
