Alongside Wisdom Wins Poem by Doris Cornago

Alongside Wisdom Wins

Rating: 5.0

Ghosts
Gamboling
Winged feet
Fleet fleeing
Path pattering
Loosening rocks
Trackside trailing
Rolling down ravines
Catching cords casted
Crusted crabs crawling
Billowing waves rolling
Winds homeward howling
Sandbar snags lone ship
Shoreline slipping slow
Nets cast for catching
Conundrum collapsing
Beacon beams beguile
Sharks should attack
Falsified fears faze
Weakened waiting
Weary wallowing
Welcome white
Whale waits
Alongside
Wisdom
Wins

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Most are haunted and chased by things they consider their enemies, ignoring their equipping due to "false fears". From my own experiences, I've come to know there is that place/moment/awareness of security. When you encounter your epiphany -a moment when you suddenly feel that you understand, or suddenly become conscious of, something that is very important to you - all is settled and you can just relax and wait to catch in your net what is truly yours from the start. A lot of action and preparation must be done though and those can only come from wisdom, beyond all fears. I needed to go past chilling fear, experience it, know the taste of it on my tongue, smelling it and feeling it numbing my skin before I can say I know what it is to fear and go past it.
