Always Wanting More Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Always Wanting More

Feeling tired of living in this world, wanting more from
this life.

Going after interesting things through poetry, hoping to
interject hope, faith and spirituality into the equation.

Just wanting romance, sensual desire being fulfilled and
an unconditional love to pursue me only.

This poem was written in a wistful mood. It has the quality of taking a deep breath and then slowly exhaling it. Such a poem, such a mood, such a breathing won't change anything in the (so-called) real world, but it puts us in touch with the interior world, if only for a brief restorative moment, and then we can return to (what else?) the reality of ALWAYS WANTING MORE. I'm describing what this poem did for me. It is a small blessing received in the middle of the day (11am) , and gives a nudge forward for the rest of this day. Thanks much, RoseAnn!
