# Am An Arrogant Poet

Rating: 3.6

in my last birth
i was all in all
a tagore...a bharathi
all in me...an all in all POET

the words used to queue
in front of me....and
only the one's i pick along
would go to make a song

the breeze
on hearing my song
would wait.there....
for me to call it to...
to dance along
for my song
which i would ignore
a donkey i would prefer
i would call a donkey
to dance along
for my song

and that's me
the arrogance in me

I won't say that you are an arrogant poet. You really carry enough truth in your poems. Sometimes we may miss to see life from the angle of absolute truth, from true philosophical angle. This is after all pardonable. Everybody has his own material boundary from which he can't easily escape due to his individual Nature.

I love your arrogance, SLN! A true poet has every right to be arrogant. Angel

Well, all I can say it, you should keep being arrogant, if all these poems are the result of that! cheers, Patti

I feel sorry for the breeze being ignored in place of a donkey. I guess this is because donkeys are stubborn and this is where arrogance comes into the poem. I highly original and interesting poem Samanyan. 10 love Karin
