Amazement Within Poem by Kathy Van Kurin

Amazement Within

Rating: 4.9

Every human being ever born is a receiver, interpreter and
creator. This is good for you and for me. Good sustains, upholding strength, for Good is the shell of hope. Where does good emanate? It is powerful and God is power.
All humanity is enclosed in the common identity of this wonderful apple of gold, the motivational factor of all life.
We think, make decisions, languish in pain and are thrilled with joy.
Oh and we are complex. All of us!
Each living soul is a being complete: Every wonderful race, color and creed, People tongue and Nation.
Humanity. The differences inspire, divide and instruct: We are receivers, interpreters, sages, prophets. But why for being so very different, are we really?
Humanity has lived and died on this globe called earth for a very, very longtime. How long? No one really knows. In quiet moments, of searching and questioning issues and challenges, within our own minds and with others; how many human hearts have asked why? What's the point? Why am I here? Do I matter?
Hurt, pain, emptiness, meaninglessness; Wow this is all part of the complex soup of Humanity. But all people in differing degrees desire and seek meaning. Seek hope within meaning, Like a gift of love; an engraved initial of ownership on a ring. We can't help that it is part of our very makeup. The purpose when we find the answer is simple, amazing, pure and wonderful.
In Genesis the very first book of God's WORD; it simply STATES, God Created male and female, in the image of God He created Adam and Eve and here we are still. Proverbs 1: 7 KJV The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Written by King Solomon the son of King David; King of Israel. Meaning is found in the substutionary death which the soon coming king and one true God, Jesus Christ has provided for humanity. If
only people will fall on the knee and accept it……Death to life and that everlasting………………

Dev Anand, Yes, we are loved in complex neediness by a God whom loves us maybe even because of this neediness. Sin really is the deciding factor. Jesus died that we might have life and that everlasting. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Thanks for your wonderful input and feelings too. Blessings, Kathy

Lire, so very precious, and yes, we are indeed complex. Self awareness on a scale above the domestics and yet we are shrouded with the simplicitys that keeps us in a perfect balance of both joy and meaning filled with purpose if we let it. Both those who have the heart of a child will find them for God is well pleased with the humble ones, I loved your poem and I plan on reading it again and again. Thank you.

Bill Cantrell, So nice to hear from you. It is so satisfying when my mind and soul work together. Finding the words to describe what is trying to be heard from i'm not sure where always. Anyway I am drifting. All I know is that God is my strength and I am thankful. So much meaning to ponder and focus on when I allow myself the time..........................thanks for responding, reading and encouraging..........So nice to find commonality with others...................Bless you so much! Susan Williams, Just started writing one day as I was sitting and thinking in a favorite outdoor place where I go sometimes. This was just a result of a particularly satisfying time of solitude and time with My Lord Jesus. Thanks for the nice review. blessings to you. Kathy

What's the point? Why am I here? Do I matter? Yes those are just some of questions many are asking; but I'll say all of us are here because God wants us here! Nice work, Kathy!
