An Afternoon Snuggle (Relaxing On The Couch) - Poem by Michael P. McParland
I would love to spend this afternoon
on the couch snuggling with you.
To just spend time with each other
enjoying our love and company.
An afternoon snuggle with you curled up in my arms
feeling so contented and peaceful
as we talked, smiled, and shared the sweetest of kisses.
An afternoon snuggling on the couch where we
could watch a movie as we ate lunch.
Nothing fancy today my sweet dear but a sandwich
but I know you would be happy and love that
and that's just one other thing that makes you perfect
because if it's done in love you know it's true
and you feel thankful my dear like so few.
I love you sweet Kira I truly do.
I have a few ideas for our movie but we
could pick out together to have the best time
just eating our lunch and together snuggling on the couch.
A beautiful afternoon snuggled up so closely with you
watching our movie and feeling deep warmth
surround us completely and in full,
a beautiful afternoon snuggling with you.
To watch our film and afterward talk and read,
and then together collaborate on some poetry.
Nothing could be better than being with you
just snuggling and spending time in a beautiful afternoon.
What I wouldn't give my sweet one to spend
this afternoon with you curled up in my arms
as we just snuggled away the time,
to just be with you is a divine dream
I know will so soon come true and I will
look in your eyes and say Kira I love you
and thank you for being my lady so very
beautiful and understanding of me.
It is the medicine for my heart and soul
and you are the divine Angel I want to be with through eternities time.
So feel my arms around you as I
pull you so very close in and know I am
there with you my dear one giving you the biggest
and most loving smile anyone has ever given.
