An Observation Poem by Sandra Feldman

An Observation

Rating: 5.0

Some, someone
Must be doing
Something, Right!
Some are still
Reading Poetry,
Surprise, surprise!
And appreciating it
And Loving It!
Despite,
This computerized
Tattooed, anonymity
Sacrificed, monochromatic,
Ugly World,
Where no one seems satisfied
Where Beauty has to hide,
In fear of being,
Decapitated and vilified.

That's the good news today!
Tomorrow is another day
We can't predict what
New and hair raising
Follies
It may weirdly, bring
Just fasten your seat belts
More bumpy rides ahead,
To come,
As rule of thumb,
From which, unfortunately
We cannot run or hide.

Yes, there is still appreciation and love in some hearts for the cameos of life captured by poetry in well-chosen words. Never to be achieved by computers or AI. Nicely put.
