An October Night
On a blue bed a very dim light,
Blue skies why you are black?
Twisting her body the restless night,
Curtains of clouds have a crack,
Have a glimpse of nature's nude,
Where are the twinkling prints?
The blue star is a bit bold but rude,
Ignore it any way, look at the tints,
Pink color is exciting so are wind blows,
Weather is a bit cold and it's inviting,
Scents coming in through the windows,
Moderate mid-October is too exciting.
The photo gives meaning to your words, but I spent so much time looking for the 'nude' that I missed my afternoon nap! : )
It's been 'a while', a long while, since I read one of your poems. I don't remember you using rhymes before; I like the rhymes.
Outstanding poem, You have depicted the splendor of the nighttime with vibrant hues and significant imagery. Truly, the natural world is laid bare when we delve into its magnificence.
