An Unknowing Future Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Going through phases of life so fluidly, not knowing how it's
done, but feeling at times being pulled in many directions
at once.

Stepping into and out of existence in order to experience and
learn lessons that need to be taught for some unknown reason,
an exercise in futility.

Taking us into depths of an unknowing future alone, nothing
but ourselves to depend on or rely, for our parents have now
passed on and the sorrow tears our hearts through time.

Teaching us hopefully, that we must treat one another with
kindness, respect and dignity, always taking care to help
others, giving from our hearts, minds and souls throughout
life.
