Angels Watching Closely Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Angels Watching Closely

Gestures of hope and faith flow from above, angels watching
closely, standing by, interpreting humility and a quiet shy-
ness, risking everything just to keep on going in the future.

Having surgery once more, hoping things will be alright
throughout the operation, knowing that people all over the
world are praying that all goes well.

Thinking and creating in minutes before taken into the
operating room, easing the pressure that's been trying to
stress this being.

Refusing to be stressed, just writing and listening to music
of Bruce Springsteen, one of this poet's favorite musicians
to write to.
