Anger Is Danger. Poem by Nabakishore Dash

Just delete d from danger
That is what is anger.

All humans possess this trait,
may be due to
our reptilian origin,
which desecrates,
makes us fulminate
and devastate.

Rage increases anxiety,
blood pressure, headache,
leads to depression, and
even heart attack.
Lets us act irrationally,
accelerates energy consumption
and makes us amnesiac.

That means it harms you
long before it harms others.
His life who conquers anger
is full of joy, bliss and elation.
Misery and repentance can not
touch his actions.
The earth becomes a paradise
where he inhabits
with satisfaction.

On the contrary,
uncontrolled anger and wrath
are arch enemies of man.
Steal your conscience
in a moment,
invite bewilderment
of memory and brutality
along with many
other aberrations.

Hence let us develop
our forbearance to axe
the wings of anger to
remain free from
impending danger.
We may resort to
drinking a glass of water
and then counting down
the numbers.
