Another Day Poem by Tia Maria

Another Day

You heard me through another day
so few are the times I remember to pray
You may have needed another ark
for tears that rained in those hours so dark

And will there be another rainbow
My heart fills up with hope
As I reach out don't let go
I am freefalling from this rope

Free now from the burning grip
that held me for so long
The wounds it cut so very deep
Are healing one by one

Lets celebrate this victory
A new life has begun
Against evil and its trickery
Another battle has been won

Still I feel weak and very weary
The days are empty and so dreary
So walk with me and fill my heart with song
Take me to that place where you know I belong

There has to be a new adventure
On the horizon of my life and light
As I arrive at this juncture
I will turn at the sign marked right
