Another Day Is Dawning Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Another Day Is Dawning

Rating: 5.0

A-nother day is dawning,
L-onging to meet the beacon;
L-ight Wednesday March fifteenth
I-s rising above the horizon.
A-fter the dark cold night, Tuesday fog fades away;
H-aze and mist disappear into the dark, blue, and gray.

N-ew morn has broken,
O-bliterating the twilight;
V-iew in the bright sky
I-s setting your birth aright.
C-omfort brought by the sun
I-s an endless blessing;
O-pen your eyes to God's grace, another day is dawning.

You make the dawn enormously significant and sketch in a religious dimension too. Great.

Thanks, Michael.... Many of my poems convey the message of love, hope, and faith in connection with the breaking dawn......
