Another Day That Old Woman Would Croon Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Another Day That Old Woman Would Croon

she'd moan she'd scatt
as she sung
another cold wind day
another day my lover stayed by the lukewarm bay
was my waters warm enough to make him stay
still again I sway my lonely sway
feed me the essence that makes the place flourent
mine alone as I sway my lonely sway
she'd moan
she'd croon
as we all stood in amazement
the way her words touched our souls
we danced into the night, as our eyes could be heard
we danced into the night as our souls could be seen
