Another Sos

Rating: 5.0

Another SOS

from where and from whom do I get this information?
You know before i say these words

the wisdom, love, care
and the rest of my knowledge

i have from You
my only Almighty Father in Heaven,

i worship You
in Ephesus You were my first love,
i know you live now above
on your golden glittering throne,
certainly not alone

i put at your feet
all guilt and evil
that i can no longer solve myself,

that government's tool needs
an unimaginable amount of money, t
this is reality
no fiction

they promised to return the ID and papers,
the money they raised,
constantly not suffice,
so these 'victims' have run out of money,

he cannot do anything without ID,
his embassy cannot identify him
and he will lose his brand new job,
it all started upon arrival at the airport,
where he was robbed while in the taxi to the hotel

dear lord help them, the rev. pastor
and he

i have tried everything,
i can only pray now
You will always be done
On earth as it is in heaven
Amen

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
POET'S NOTE TO THE POEM: A poem based on SOS screams in that corrupt country in Africa where innocent foreigners have to pay to get their ID and other personal evidence back, while the promise was to return the papers after paying a certain amount. already paid, they complied, but this government's tool did not return their ID and other papers, but still ask for more amount, SOS if they don't get it in 1 week, he will loose his brand new job and the ID and all important papers have still not been returned. Real facts, no fiction, I did everything I could, still not finished now, I can only pray to my dear God

Yes Madam Sylvia, corruption has become part and parcel of our life some do it at a higher level and some at very lower level even exploitation is a kind of corruption and you have nicely dealt with it in your poem. Thought provoking.

Man proposes, God disposes. I hope and pray that this wierd situation and suffering comes to an end soon.
