Anothertestimony Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

rain flood for days
water meters high
all over the country
in this country
where I pledge my heart
think too seriously
becomes spicy

but I'm going to testify again
because small or big
whether or not in need
God always hears me
I have to tell that again

for weeks,
rather, for two months
did not go to the hairdresser,
every time I canceled the appointment,
my hairdresser has had corona
my hairdresser? !

Oops she gotta wash and cut my hair
canceled after a few times, went today anyway,
I have prayed solemnly,
whether the heavy rains will stop,
my appointment was today

couldn't believe my eyes:
it is not raining, the sun is smiling broad-mouthed

with God's great blessing
even if it's just a prayer so that it doesn't pour again today,
I have to be there at 1: 30 p.m.

when I left my hairdresser
the sky was still a dark cloud of venom,
my hairdresser laughed at me: did you think it won't rain?
It just poured, everything wet

I haven't felt a drop of rain afterwards,
I bought some fried fish,
the dark veil is completely lifted,
the venom was blown away

I saw God waving to me
this is not the first time
that I testify of God's wonderful blessings,
rains for weeks on end,
it just doesn't stop
nonstop!

Today the sun is smiling at me
all day long, broadly
went to the hairdresser for the first time,
after so many times canceled

realize: this is a wonder again,
God has heard my prayer,
I must write this down
you need not to believe,
but please read
my testimony
