Is a poet
Anyone who tries to write a poem
Is a poet
There are many poets
And there will be many more poets
You are and can be a poet too
Anyone who wishes to be a poet
Is a poet-
But to be one of those very few
Whose poetry is read and loved

A few relevant points raised indeed that many need to introspect upon. Any one who writes a 'poem' is a poet, no doubt. But anything penned in the name of poem is no poem, nor yet a writer becomes a poet. So true.
