Anything For A Vote Poem by Sandra Feldman

Anything For A Vote

Rating: 5.0

Who the dirtier
Dems or Repubs?
Or the legacy of both?
In any case,
Anything for a vote!
Puzzles, the naïve
At heart,
And does disconcert,
Thoroughly, disgust
Those that truly,
Still believe
In Democracy,
Anything for a vote!
The intrigues that go on
Have been secretly guarded
For they are so dirty
That even chimney-sweeps
Are not prepared to cleanse
The coals from Hell,
That all human morality
Has politically,
And not politely
So far, so abjectly
And disgustingly
Disregarded!

Dear Sandra, it has always been about the vote, they would sell their mother for power, both sides share this attitude, Daniel 2: 44 takes on special meaning because of this
