Apples Poem by Walterrean Salley

Apples

Rating: 5.0

The apple is featured
At Christmastime.
Its presence graces
The holiday's chime.

Gold, red and green,
Of natural hue,
Give the apple
A delightful view.

Its scent is fresh,
Nostalgic too,
Aiding the proverb:
It's "good for you."

i like the fact that you see somethinng poetic in apples. Isn't that what moves a poet: seeing everyday things from a special angle and put in melodious words?
