Applied Implications Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Applied Implications

Applied implications.
To allege a doing,
Falsely without proof...
What had been done.
Although the evidence of it,
Nowhere appears done to come.
Makes little difference.
None at all.

When allegations to mention them,
Given consent to hear and listen.
Is evidence and proof enough,
For many of us opinionated...
To offer and voice...
Our negative decisions.
Quickly to give.
With no remorse to choose as a choice.
Done to not admit,
A rushing to insist someone to be guilty.

Regardless of their innocence.
And a written confession presented,
By the culprit doing their best...
To convince of a wrong to do.

Yet...
They just don't fit the profile,
Already digested.
To have been accepted by the people.

"I'm telling all of you,
I DID THE CRIME.
I HAVE PROOF OF IT.
ARREST ME. ARREST ME! "

-Always someone comes,
Dressed to impress.
Seeking to publish a book.
Just to take the attention away,
From another proclaiming their innocence.

And we, the people...
Loving already those allegations made.
As proof and evidence enough,
To arrive and decide our verdict.
What's next?
A loyalty with sincere honesty to believe? -
