Appology Poem by Matthew Holloway

Appology

I am ashamed
By my actions
My words I played
My morall value
Leaving me flat broke
In debt to the sins
I created
~
I took the entire world
All I knew and held
I through it up
Without a thought
I hang my head in shame
Looking to find a way
Back, back to where I was
That time bring it back
Unable to buryy the past
But looking to learn from it
~
I need to change
Adapt my ways
Make my penance
Show who I should be
Who I wish to be
That person I lost
Way back when
~
This is what its come to
Screaming at the stranger
My hated reflection
But I promise now
My life as collateral
I will fight and battle
To bring it back again
~
And I do it for love
To the one I know
Is better than me
Someone I wish to raise
Upon high once again
Right now I start
With this apology
