April Rains & Sweet Refrains Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

April Rains & Sweet Refrains

Rating: 5.0

A deluge of rain brings forth the green
While song birds bid a warm welcome to brand new Spring
Sunshine peeks through a rain cloud or two
While the world embraces the rainbows Spring oft' brings.

Daffodils paint the verdant fields lemon yellow
While tulips offer a multi-colour view...
Apple blossoms-blush with their pale pinks- -
While the song birds continue to share songs - brand new.

The hills and the vales - become so alive...
Strolling through the country side - it calms
Echoing through the Spring tides new presence
Are the sweet refrains of song birds psalms

Below are some of my own quotes. Didn't turn out the way i wanted-as i had each of them listed under several poems...but could do nothing to correct the repeats.
