I'm just going to be honest,
There's nothing wrong in that,
I'm not living in the present,
My heart lies in the past.
For back there i feel safe and warm,
Those memories hug me tight,
My mind is filled with thoughts of you,
Morning noon and night.
And so i go on dreaming,
Of times that make me smile.
I can't shake off this feeling,
These days seem so unkind.
Each whisper in the morning breeze,
Each day i miss you so.
The colours of the woodland trees,
Have gained their autumn glow.
Each moment that i think of you,
I hope that you may see,
That i still need you oh so much,
Are you looking over me?
