Are You The One For Whom My Soul Burns? - Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

It flew without a sound above me.

I listened unshaken like a stone
to the movements of its wings.

Are you the one for whom my soul burns,
in tempest fire,
in the oil poured out,
in tenderness and desire?

I find in this poem the Thirst of a Soul for God. In some Moments or Experiences it tastes the Presence of God. Ps.42,1 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. Thanks for the Poem (Report) Reply
