Armageddon Poem by Ima Ryma

Armageddon

When from heaven the Devil fell,
An angel fallen from God's grace,
He set up residence in hell,
Which was the Earth in time and place.
Though God has tried through centuries
To make the Devil go away,
The Devil's done as Devil please,
And humankind has let him stay.
An ultimatum God did give
That humankind to God must turn,
Or none of humankind would live,
That all of humankind would burn.

Invincible, the Devil stood,
Knowing evil would defeat good.
