Share your smile with me
& I'll share the songs
that's been stuck in my head.
There are a few feelings
in life that are worth the pause.
I'd listen to you if you
happened to talk through
my favorite song.
There's something genuine,
sharing something private
with someone else.
Moments like this are precious,
Staring into your big brown eyes.
I'll wrap my smile all around
you and do something silly
to make you laugh.
Revealing that I may like you
a little bit more than I let on.
No matter how off key.
Uncontrollably and fearlessly.
The only ticket sold to
my one night show.
I love the way your face
is at ease & how your face lights up
When I get this way around you.
All the songs that are stuck
in my head remind me of you
There's never enough time.
The world purposely spins
too fast when I am around you
& slows all the way down
when I am not
