As I Remember A Laugh-In Moment Poem by WES Vogler

As I Remember A Laugh-In Moment

Dick Martin: (at the pub) "I got the wine tab...
three dollars and fifty cents."
Ruth Buzzi: "Did we drink two gallons o that stuff? "
Dick: "Give us a kiss."
Ruth: "I'm not that sort of a girl."
Dick: "You'll walk home."

A simplicity-laced literary nugget, this one...I like your deceptively light, yet powerful thematic bombshells; all prudently driven home rather ambivalently. One may opt for shallow reading, and still savor a vast deal between the lines. Or, they may choose to deal it a more philosophical glimpse, and now grasp lots of subtle 'life-wisdoms' tacitly hinted therein!

Laugh-In was great! I loved that show and also Hee Haw!

The sock-it-to-me girl was my favourite HOW DID THEY EVER GET AWAY WITH THAT? I frequently watch the Heehaw quqrtet (as a great form of entertainment)
