Aspiration Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Aspiration

I get down on both knees
& I call your name.
I close my eyes; my heart
Filled with nothing but you.
I've nothing to regret.
It doesn't matter if I am
At home or out & about.
I crawl into the comfort of knowing
In some shape or form
You're there with me.
I love you always.
There was never anything to hide
I'd be foolish to try
