~astronomers Skies~ Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

~astronomers Skies~

Rating: 4.4

Where Moon and stars collide
....Deep in the afterglow...
Wrapped like embellished word's
...Where Super Nova's Grow...
Where Galaxies are the Universe's gleam
...To many a discerning astronomers eye...
Culminating with the answers of the heavens'
...Sharply seen in the brillant night sky...
Asteroids-Meteorites-The Shooting Stars
...Swift rapid flow downward to the earth...
Leaving a glitter-like trail
...Filling all with glee and mirth...
Can be like a shimmering fire works display
...Oft' seen upon the 4th Of July...
Creme-de-la-Creme-Ethereal delight
Upon our Universe we can all most always rely

Dedicated to: Chris and his' Brother 'Mike

And I'm always amazed by the theories the astronomers come up with - that they looked into the skies to determine Hubble movement - and that they know we are wrapped in the Oort cloud - truly a delight as you say! A lovely poem, kind regards, Margaret Alice.
