Wonderful writing. Movies are an escape and were attended particularly in the 2nd war and depression years when reality was just too vivid for people to face. Movies are the ultimate in creative expression. They involve writing, music, cinematography and technology. My son is a documentary maker and I am lucky enough to be the first person to see his finished article and to drawn into to the whole creative process. Top marks for your perceptions. Karin Anderson

Movies have come a long way since the silent screen. There's just a hint of what's playing but it's a good glimpse of that special time looking at the screen.
