Atlantis. Poem by Tom Allport

Atlantis.

Rating: 5.0

Hidden in the dim light
Tops of submerged buildings
Stood above the water
Bodies scattered like flotsam
There was no sound
By daybreak "Atlantis"
Was no more
Never to be found.

With sadness but perfectly written. The whole picture appears with just a few words. The poetic brevity so well chosen, is able to, remarkably and vividly, present the tragedy with just a few excellent verses.

" Atlantis" Was no more Never to be found....Daybreak brought up a mystery and all were surprised. This poem is very brilliantly and excellently penned.
