Atomic War Poem by Paul Butters

Atomic War

Rating: 5.0

Upwards they plume,
The Earth rending mushrooms.
Death’s devastation,
Spreads like a plague.

Staining the soil,
A pall of radiation.
Filling the sky,
With ogres of rage.

Really a poignant bit of verse expertly worded. Focused and factual.
